Cash in on the great feeling you get
Everyone likes to feel good, right? Well, the good feeling you get
from having improved the world is unlike any other. Anyone who's given a
lollipop to a 2 year old knows what I mean. What is a small expense for
you can be a huge gift to someone else or to the world, whether that
expense be giving a child a lollipop or devoting a few hours a week to
Greenpeace. Yes, you may have a busy schedule, but if you stop by that
demonstration for equal pay for women, you're emotions will be raised. As
a result, you'll be more awake and alert, and will probably work better
for the rest of the day. Doing good that give you that push to
appreciate life.
Not convinced? Try it once or twice and see what happens. "Don't
knock it 'til you've tried it." A few hours one day is a small price to
pay to potentially find someone that could improve your happiness.
