Agenda for SAME's General Membership Meeting on Tues Jan 10th, 2012

Hello SAME members and Friends.
We meet at 4th ave and Walnut st in the Hillcrest area of San Diego. Meeting will begin promptly at 6:30pm and end at 8:30pm. Here is the Agenda:

1 (10min) Introductions and Question: Have you watched the debates and what do you think of the GOP candidates?

2. (15min) “Equality 9” update on contacting media.

3.(30min) Discussion and/or planning for "Day of Decision"

4.(5-10min) Formal proposal to change by-laws so that the steering committee meets on an as needed basis (2/3rds vote required by the general membership present)

5. (10 min) Call for nominations for the 2012 steering committee(final vote on Jan 24th)

6. (30 min) Question and Discussion: Should we change the way we talk about Private Manning in light of Manning's gender questioning? Discussion: Pvt Manning's gender questioning.

7. (10 min) Endorsements/Announcements.(Reminder of Ann's financial report on Jan 24th, KGTV boycott status, Quick CLC report-back by Jose)
