"Precious Knowledge" -- Arizona’s battle over ethnic studies in public schools, while students transform lawmakers push to eliminate the classes. Arizona banned the teaching ethnic studies, targeting the highly successful Mexican-American Studies program in Tucson Unified School District. Eleven TUSD teacers, administrators and students are suing the state to bring back Ethnic Studies (www.saveethnicstudies.org).

This is about more than the Arizona ban. This is an opportunity for all people who care for justice to come together for the rights of all children to have effective education and to learn about their heritage.

Come!
Help with the legal costs of the teachers and students fighting for the program.
Talk to some of of the warrior teachers and students
Network with others working for social justice and the rights of all to learn about their roots.
